Let's face the facts: as much as even we love and prefer fountain pens, we realize that they're not always the right tool for the job.

Need to write through multi-page forms? Ballpoint.

Need to write on coated paper? Ballpoint.

Buying a pen as a gift? Unless the person you're buying for has expressed an interest in fountain pens or is known to use them already, a ballpoint is the better gift. Fountain pens take time for those who have never seen one or used one to figure out. You don't want to gift a fountain pen just to have it sit in a desk drawer for decades unused. A fine ballpoint pen is no less appreciated than a fountain pen (and far more appreciated by the vast majority of left-handed people nowadays!) Ballpoint.

Lamy 2000

The 2000 that started it all, this LAMY ballpoint has been writing design history since 1966! As a timeless classic it is still one of the most modern writing instruments today. Fiberglass and stainless steel, matt brushed finish with LAMY giant refill M 16 black M.

Pineider Avatar UR

Pineider's Avatar Collection marks a step up in pen manufacturing that involves a new material (the revolutionary UltraResin) and precision assembly (a new process called GlueLess). Joining incredible beauty and a very high resistance to any kind of impact, each Avatar UR is crafted with a mother of pearl compound resin in a special formula, called UltraResin. Developed in Florence specifically for Pineider, this compound is very stiff and its exceptional features makes it nearly unbreakable. Faber-Castell Ambition

The clean lines and selected materials of the these slim writing implements make an excellent impression. They are distinguished by clear-cut visual design combined with professional functionalism. 

The barrels of the Ambition series writing instruments is made of a variety of materials including walnut, pearwood, coconut wood, and stainless steel, the 3D (shown), Rhombus and Resin ballpoint is made of resin, and OpArt series has a barrel made of precious resin featuring a fine guilloche pattern.  Highly polished chromed metal end cap and tip with a spring-loaded metal clip. Cross Wanderlust

22Studio Contour

A truly unique pen (and one of our best-sellers, much loved by designers, engineers and architects), the Contour Ballpoint Pen is made of 22Studio’s unique high density concrete and 316 Stainless steel.  22 Design Studio invited the bezel supplier (who produces their 4D concrete watch) to process the metal parts. Through CNC machining, its structure is exposed and clear to understand.  The body of the pen is made of concrete and is finely contoured in their workshop, offering a unique grip. Over time of use, the concrete barrel will become darker, and its rigid edges smoother as they respond and adapt to your hand.

Kaweco Student

Available in 2 series and a total of 9 color options, the attractive, ergonomic shape and precious resin acrylic of Kaweco's Student series pens was designed for frequent writers.  The Student ballpoint is equipped with black medium point Parker/G2 style refill.

Otto Hutt design04 Wave Series

The design04 is available in sterling silver and standard lacquer finishes, but this is its most-popular form, the Wave Series. After coating in rich color lacquer, the three-dimensional guilloche pattern of this Design04 twist ballpoint is made with waves that vary in depth. These are coated with either platinum or rose gold and then again several layers of lacquer are added, which are sanded and polished after each application.    Design04 is a homage to aesthetic straightforwardness.
