"Shiri", the mini monkey ornament rests his contented sleepy head on his knees. He is named after Japanese Rookwood artist Kitaro Shirayamadani (1865 - 1948), who created the Monkey Paperweight. Shirayamadani, who brought a direct Japanese influence to Rookwood, worked at the pottery for over five decades and is the company's most prolific artist.
The mini Shiri ornament measures just slightly over 3" in height and is suitable for display year round.
Available in matte orange and gloss red.
