With the Kaweco Sport something special was created in 1911. A pocket fountain pen that only measured 10,5 cm when closed and therefore came in handy as an every day carry item. When placing the cap on the barrel, the pen measured 13 cm. Back then it was advertised for ladies, gentlemen and sportsmen.
The Kaweco AC Sport was inspired by today's sports car construction. Aluminium and carbon are no longer just decorative elements, they influence many aspects of the dynamics and efficiency of a vehicle. When it comes to writing instruments, not only do they enhance the design, but also the writing comfort, surface feel, and weight of the pen. The inlaid panels of carbon fiber create an incredibly refined effect. Due to its light weight, the AC Sport is ideal for on the go and is neither too heavy nor too light for longer sessions of writing. 
The fountain pen uses standard international cartridge fill system. There is also an optional push/pull mini converter available for bottled ink use. A silver tone steel nib comes outfitted on the black and red versions; a sporty black nib on the green version. You can choose between five nib sizes: EF - extra fine, for a very small and fine handwriting, F - fine, M - medium, B as a slightly wider nib and BB often for large, dramatic signatures. For beginners we recommend F or M. Pen is supplied with an ink cartridge.
