The
year 2000 marked a special milestone for Bulova - it's 125th Anniversary.
Since 1875, when 23-year-old Czech immigrant Joseph Bulova set up shop
in New York City, Bulova has exemplified the spirit of American industry,
blending old-world craftsmanship and new-world innovation.
Determined to explore every emerging possibility in the
world of timekeeping, Joseph Bulova forged an enduring legacy of creativity
and excellence, transforming the industry by constant experimentation
with new products, untied technologies and imaginative marketing techniques.
During the post-WW1 era, Bulova became the first company to introduce
full lines of men's and ladies' wristwatches, following up in 1928 by
producing the world's first clock radio and, three years later, the
first electric clock.
Proud of its vital role in the American tapestry, Bulova,
still wholly U.S. owned and operated, remains one of the world's most
recognized brands. To view Appointment's collection of fine Bulova Time
